Dare To Fork!

Dare To Fork!

ABOUT

Open source has become a movement and a way of working that encourages innovation through collaboration in order to bring the technological world in the right direction. Open source projects vary greatly in scale. Some are driven by individuals creating a specific application, others are major initiatives developed by institutions, and companies, with a thing in common: to have an impact, we decide to recognize it with DARE TO FORK.

The contribution is the essence of open-source: learning and collaboration; and most successful open-source projects are a result of contributions from people of all skill levels. Dare to Fork is a quality guarantee which enables us to build a sustainable Open Community and discover how it is easy to contribute.

Dare to Fork is a label that promotes open-source and ensures that free and open-source software can grow and prosper. This label has been created to recognize and highlight the impact of all the actors in the open-source world.

“The power of Open-source is the power of the people. The people rule.”- Philippe Kahn
